2026 Tundra and Corolla Cross: Four-Wheel RV Towing Is Ruled Out
2026 U.S. Tundra gas and i-FORCE MAX Hybrid, plus Corolla Cross gas and Hybrid. This decision covers four-wheels-on-the-ground dinghy towing behind a motorhome.
If your motorhome plan requires towing the Toyota with all four wheels on the road, rule these 2026 Tundra and Corolla Cross families out. Their gas and Hybrid manuals explicitly say they are not designed for that form of dinghy towing behind a motorhome. A switch between the two powertrains does not resolve this purchase constraint.

Use the motorhome instruction for the motorhome question
This is an explicit recreational-towing instruction. Each manual’s “Dinghy towing” section names towing with four wheels on the ground behind a motorhome, then warns against it to avoid serious vehicle damage. The result does not depend on interpreting a generic towing photograph or emergency-recovery diagram.

A trailer rating answers the opposite vehicle role
Toyota’s Corolla Cross manual defines Trailer Weight Rating as the gross trailer weight, including its cargo, that the vehicle can tow. In that situation the Toyota is pulling the trailer. In your RV plan, the motorhome is pulling the Toyota. Keep that role change clear before treating a towing-capacity number as eligibility.
For the four manual families in the table, the relevant answer is already written in the recreational-towing section. A 4WD or AWD badge, powertrain preference or trailer-rating discussion does not replace that instruction. The comparison here establishes no neutral-position or transfer-case procedure that would make four-wheel RV towing permissible.
Other transport plans need their own instructions
If your transport plan instead uses a dolly or a full trailer, obtain the instructions for that exact vehicle and apparatus as a separate decision. This four-wheel eligibility map approves neither arrangement and gives no emergency-towing instruction as an RV procedure.
